How many eyes do tarantulas have
The tarantula is a kind of spider, whose name usually causes terror in man. However, contrary to what is commonly believed, their bite is not deadly if treated in time, and there are smaller and more harmless looking spiders whose bites are much more dangerous.
The tarantula has 8 eyes, all of them grouped in a small encephalic protuberance, which is known as the “ocular tumulus”. They are divided into two rows, and, as with most spider species, most of them are adapted for night vision
Another consideration to keep in mind is that both the tarantulas and the rest of the spiders’ eyes practically only serve to distinguish the light.
